PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $128,900.00-$157,500.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $99,900.00 - $186,400.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of WA, CA, VA, NC, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, or SC. If you’re located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be remote. Help shape how one of the nation's largest credit unions tells its data story.

As a Sr. Enterprise Data & Business Intelligence Analyst, you'll play a key role in advancing BECU's enterprise data visualization capabilities by designing intuitive, impactful, and scalable reporting solutions that help leaders make smarter decisions. You'll partner with analytics teams, business leaders, and BI engineers across the organization to transform complex data into meaningful stories that influence strategy at every level—including executive leadership. This role is about much more than building dashboards. You'll champion best practices in data visualization, help establish enterprise reporting standards, mentor fellow analysts, and introduce innovative ideas that elevate how BECU communicates with data. If you're passionate about the art and science of data storytelling, enjoy teaching others, and are always exploring new ways to make data more accessible and actionable, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact.

What You’ll Do
  • Design intuitive, visually compelling dashboards and reporting solutions using Tableau and Power BI that enable enterprise decision-making.
  • Transform complex business questions into clear, meaningful data stories that drive action across Marketing, Finance, Treasury, Risk, Product, and other business functions.
  • Partner with business leaders, analysts, BI engineers, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable reporting solutions that meet enterprise needs.
  • Champion enterprise data visualization standards, governance practices, and design principles that improve consistency, usability, and trust in reporting.
  • Help administer Tableau and Power BI environments, including permissions, content organization, governance, and platform best practices.
  • Guide analysts across the organization by mentoring on dashboard design, storytelling techniques, accessibility, and visualization best practices.
  • Evaluate emerging visualization trends, tools, and industry practices to continuously improve BECU's reporting capabilities and user experience.
  • Conduct technical demonstrations, knowledge-sharing sessions, and presentations with stakeholders ranging from analysts to executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Data Management, BI Engineering, and Analytics teams to ensure high-quality, trusted, and well‑governed enterprise reporting solutions.
  • Support data governance initiatives by promoting high-quality datasets, visualization standards, and consistent reporting practices across the organization.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Mathematics, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience delivering enterprise business intelligence, reporting, and analytics solutions, including designing interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau and Power BI.
  • Experience partnering with business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into intuitive, scalable reporting and visualization solutions.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and experience supporting enterprise business intelligence environments, including data preparation, visualization governance, permissions, and platform administration.
  • Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across technical and business audiences.
Desired Qualifications
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience working within large, enterprise organizations or consulting environments supporting multiple business partners.
  • Experience establishing visualization standards, governance practices, or enterprise reporting best practices.
  • Experience participating in Tableau User Groups, Data Visualization Society, industry conferences, or other professional visualization communities.
  • Experience with Python, Alteryx, or other data preparation tools preferred.
