Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst specializing in data visualization to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to design, develop, and maintain informative dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI and MicroStrategy. The successful candidate will play a critical mission-support role by transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that directly facilitate business strategy, decision-making, and IT Operations sustainment..in support of critical mission requirements enhancing the reliability and security of Department of War (DoW) networks and systems.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Dashboard Development - Design, build, and deploy interactive dashboards, reports, and dossiers using Power BI and
  • MicroStrategy

  • Stakeholder Collaboration - Partner with business leaders and IT decision-makers to gather requirements and translate

  • Data Analysis - Interrogate and analyze complex datasets to uncover critical trends, patterns, and insights that support

  • Optimization & Quality Assurance - Validate data accuracy, troubleshoot reporting anomalies, and optimize dashboard
  • performance for end-users.
  • User Enablement - Provide guidance, documentation, and training to end-users on how to effectively interact with and
  • interpret the visualization tools.
  • Documentation & Standards - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, standard operating procedures, and
  • data dictionaries in support of delivered products.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all tools comply with DoW STIGs and IL5/IL6/IL7 protocols; develop and
  • maintain architectural documentation and compliance traceability.
  • Education - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related
  • field. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires BS and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree. 
  • Security Clearance: Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) required at time of hire.
  • Certification: Active IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, GSEC, or SSCP) required.
  • Citizenship: United States Citizenship is required.
  • Core Experience: Proven professional track record in data analysis, business intelligence, and building data visualizations for enterprise use.
  • Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with IT Operations and sustainment, including a strong understanding of how to
  • identify and apply relevant data to support these functions.
  • Data Integration / ETL: Experience with data extract, transform, and load (ETL) techniques using disparate structured
  • and unstructured data sources.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced hands-on experience with Power BI (including DAX and Power Query) and MicroStrategy (including Dossiers and standard reporting).
  • Database Skills: Strong command of SQL and experience querying complex relational databases and data warehouses.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical data findings clearly to non-technical audiences. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Scripting: Familiarity with Python or R for advanced data manipulation and statistical analysis.
  • Certifications: Relevant industry certifications in Power BI (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) or
  • MicroStrategy.
  • Data Architecture: Understanding of data warehousing concepts and advanced semantic layer modeling.

Pay Range:Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
