Position Overview

We are looking for a creative, organized, and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our Global Social Media team. This internship is ideal for someone passionate about digital content, social media, fashion, travel, and lifestyle brands who is looking to gain hands-on experience within a global luxury hospitality brand.

The Social Media Intern will support the planning, creation, editing, and publishing of engaging content across Nikki Beach's global social media channels. Working closely with the Social Media and Shop teams, this role will contribute to content calendars, photoshoots, merchandising campaigns, and short-form video production while ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.


Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Social Media
  • Create engaging Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, and other short-form content using raw footage provided by Nikki Beach locations.
  • Produce original on-site photo and video content showcasing Shop Nikki Beach merchandise.
  • Film, edit, and publish creative content optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other emerging platforms.
  • Assist in managing the Global Nikki Beach and Shop Nikki Beach content calendars.
  • Plan and execute weekly Instagram Stories to maintain daily engagement and brand visibility.
  • Brainstorm creative content ideas aligned with Nikki Beach brand standards and current social media trends.
  • Edit photos and videos using mobile and desktop editing applications.
  • Monitor social media trends, viral formats, sounds, and platform updates, recommending timely content opportunities.
  • Assist with scheduling content across social media platforms.

Photoshoot Support
  • Assist with the planning, styling, and execution of product and lifestyle photoshoots.
  • Organize products, props, and shot lists before and during shoots.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes content for use across social media platforms.
  • Support content organization and asset management after shoots.

Collaboration & Brand Support
  • Work closely with the Global Social Media and Shop teams to ensure content aligns with campaign objectives.
  • Maintain consistency with Nikki Beach's visual identity and brand guidelines.
  • Support additional digital marketing and social media initiatives as required.

What We're Looking For
  • Currently enrolled in a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Fashion, Business, or a related field.
  • Passion for social media, digital storytelling, luxury hospitality, travel, fashion, or lifestyle brands.
  • Comfortable filming, photographing, and creating content using mobile devices.
  • Comfortable working with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar applications.
  • Understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trends.
  • Excellent creativity with an eye for visual storytelling and aesthetics.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • Availability to work on-site at our Miami Office throughout the internship.
