Position Overview:

As a GU In-Store Visual MerchandisingLead, you will play a key role in creating a visually engaging and commercially effective sales floor that supports both current and future business needs. By aligning with the company's sales strategy,you'llhelp ensure the store environment drives performance and delivers a strong customer experience.

You will bring the brand to life bymaintaininga high standard of visual merchandising, creating impactful displays thatshowcaseproducts and inspire customers. Through your work, you will help communicate the brand's identity and contribute to building a strong and consistent presence in the U.S. market.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute weekly and monthly in-store visual merchandising (VMD) plans, including mannequins, displays, promotional materials, and window presentations, aligned with business strategy, sales performance, inventory levels, and market trends to effectively communicate brand values.

  • Adapt visual presentations based on daily sales performance by partnering with store management tomaintainvisually engaging mannequins, displays, and windows that enhancethe customerexperience and maximize satisfaction.

  • Collaborate closely with Global Headquarters (GHQ) to understand global visual merchandising strategies and translate them into effective, store-level execution.

  • Responsible for ordering in-store decoration materials with support from GHQe.g.vinyl and window decoration display for GUUS Store

  • Work with VMD advisors to gather insights and best practices, incorporating them into store merchandising plans and daily execution.

  • Partner with Marketing, Store Management, and store teams to ensuretimelyandaccurateimplementation of marketing materials and visual displays on the sales floor.

  • Conduct regular market research to stay informed on U.S. trends and customer preferences, applying insights to store VMD plans and sharing feedback with GHQ.

  • Maintain an organized, efficient, and visually clean back-of-house (BOH), ensuring proper management of display samples, promotional materials, and fixtures.

  • Support and deliver visual merchandising training for store associates, including display setup, mannequin styling, window presentation, and trend awareness.

  • Collaborate frequently with store operations teams and provide in-store support as needed to ensure seamless execution.

  • Performadditionalduties asassigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diplomarequired,Bachelor'sdegree a plus

  • 3+ years of visual merchandising (VMD)or displayexperiencepreferably in a retail or store environment, withdemonstratedability to develop and execute effective in-store VMD strategies aligned with business goals and market trends

  • Passion for retail and fashion, with a strong interest in creating impactful in-store experiences

  • Strong attendance and reliability, with the ability to work on-site five days per week andmaintaina flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision and evolving priorities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate across all levels of the organization

Physical Requirements:

Salary Range:

  • $82,000-$84,000
