Job description

Job Overview:
The Visual Merchandiser is an integral and highly engaged team member, responsible for leading the visual merchandising efforts at Dover Street Market Los Angeles. Their primary focus is driving sales through weekly visual updates while maintaining high store standards and overseeing replenishment. Additionally, they play a key role in visual installations, event merchandising, store training sessions, and are a pivotal contributor to the team's success.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising Manager to lead DSMLA's store visuals in alignment with company standards, considering product launches, installations, and daily stock movement.
  • Partner with the Merchandising team and store staff to ensure effective stock rotation and a comprehensive understanding of all brands and inventory.
  • Oversee the merchandising and preparation of new deliveries and installations for photography, coordinating with both internal and external teams to meet Visual Merchandising (VM) requirements.
  • Supervise Pt-Time Visual Merchandiser during VM days to ensure all spaces meet company standards consistently.
  • Coordinate with the Visual Merchandising Manager to arrange VM visits with brands featured at DSMLA.
  • Train retail staff on the company's visual standards to ensure consistent execution.
  • Offer support to commercial partners within shop-in-shop spaces as needed.
  • Ensure store visual displays are consistently maintained according to company guidelines.
