Job Summary**
Ensure the quality of products and processes through meticulous inspection and adherence to established standards, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities**
* Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products according to specifications, blueprints, and quality control plans.
* Utilize various measuring instruments and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) accurately and effectively.
* Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective actions as needed.
* Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records, including daily logs, defect reports, and test results.
* Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to investigate root causes of quality issues and implement preventive measures.
* Participate in the development and improvement of quality control procedures and inspection criteria.
* Conduct first-article inspections and provide feedback on new product introductions.
* Adhere to all company safety regulations and quality management system requirements.
* Assist in internal and external quality audits as required.
Job Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or electronics environment.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
* Demonstrated experience with various measurement tools and techniques.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
* Basic understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., AQL, SPC).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for documentation and reporting.
* Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
