What the Ideal Candidate Will Do:

  • Inspect manufactured components using mechanical inspection tools and digital inspection equipment.
  • Perform pre/post-test inspection of customer parts.
  • Plan inspection activities by reviewing work operation sheets, blueprints, and customer drawings.
  • Sampling procedures and perform visual inspection on parts.
  • Operate CMM machine.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all inspection equipment.
  • Must be a US Person.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of quality control experience with a manufacturing background; or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Experience with sampling procedures and visual inspection requirements.
  • Must have experience with inspection documentation.
  • Ability to read blueprints/drawings is a plus but not required.
  • Must be detailed oriented.
  • Good shop math skills, good mechanical skills, and strong computer skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, etc. Experience with MRP/ERP preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
