Job description

As the AV Technician, the individual will administer, STIG, operate, patch, maintain, and monitoring the G6 Visual Information System / VTC systems. In this role, the AV technician will have the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and support NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS VTCs. In addition, the AV technician will work with the various teams that provide voice, video, and VTC services. The Technician will be responsible for providing technical support, resolving technical issues associated with the day-to-day operations of the Audio/Visual and Video Teleconferencing equipment, and implementing solutions. Additionally, the individual will test, install, and maintain the A/V-VTC equipment for an enterprise-wide military network.

This role requires a physical presence on- site 5 days a week in Augusta, GA.

Responsibilities

  • Provides training to customers and government staff to ensure knowledge continuity across technologies
  • Corporates AV video conferencing experience in the Set up and support of events and meetings
  • Assists the team in any other activity assigned by the lead or government leadership
  • Implements good housekeeping practices for equipment and work areas
  • Primary support for meetings, webcasts, and Telepresence calls
  • Provides preventive maintenance support
  • Installation of audio-visual equipment such as projectors, displays, video walls, speakers, cabling
  • Performs AV system installations (Boardrooms, Classrooms, Conference Rooms)
  • Researches, implements, and tests new technologies and frameworks
  • Reviews, assesses, and approves external vendor technical work
  • Revises operational documentation and diagrams
  • Performs other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office

Required Qualifications/Education and Experience

  • Minimum three (3) years of Audio Visual - VTC experience
  • Must maintain an active Secret Security Clearance with TS/SCI eligibility
  • Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have and maintain an active Security + Certification

Preferred Qualifications/Education and Experience

  • Associate degree
  • Crestron Audio Visual experience
  • Crestron Training Certs (CTI) in the following order:
    • CTI-Core
    • CTI-Technician
    • CTI-Crestron Flex
    • CTI-P101
