Job description

Primary Responsibilities
Assist in satisfying the visual display needs of all Merchandise business units

Design, installation and upkeep of store signage and graphics
Implement plans for creating visual displays, utilizing carpenter and craftsman skills
Deliver and install any display fixtures, displays, or props as needed at Merchandise locations
Maintain the visual displays to include overhead displays, display cases and windows, feature and outside displays throughout the Merchandise locations
Assist at store sets and remerchandising per corporate and department standards
Make a continuing and diligent effort to minimize the loss of company property and/or merchandise due to internal or external damage or theft
Monitor merchandise levels, notify leadership of inventory needs and participate in physical inventory
Keep all assigned areas clean, including emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, and dusting
Provide exceptional guest service by greeting and interacting with guests, answering questions and resolving guest issues

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements and Competencies
Must be at least 18 years old
High School diploma
Must have 3 years of visual merchandising experience
Must have basic carpentry skills to include painting, building and repairs, fixture and prop assembly
Must have visual merchandising skills to include:
o Knowledge of fixtures and signage requirements to ensure brand messaging while ensuring maximum profitability
o Successful implementation and execution of seasonal and specific planograms
o Inventory management
Must be able to climb a ladder
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to provide exceptional guest service
Must be able to stand for entire shift
Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 60 pounds
Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision
Must be comfortable with completing all cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
Must be comfortable working around fumes/dust/odor
Must be comfortable working at heights
Must be able to move freely around work areas
Must be able to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions and temperature extremes
Must be available to work varying shifts/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
Possession of a valid state driver's license preferred

Proficient in graphic design and print production utilizing Adobe Creative Suite
