CBS Sports is looking for a freelance Graphics Production Assistant to enhance the overall production quality of CBS Sports Digital properties by working to provide graphics support to keep up with the fast-paced sports news environment.
Responsibilities:
- Use Adobe Creative Suite to cut images and/or clips for implementation into graphics database. This includes team and sponsor logos, player headshots and action shots
- Operate Ross XPression machine during show (graphics department will train if unfamiliar)
- Work in browser-based rundown system Inception (graphics department will train if unfamiliar)
- Create custom imagery for use on our studio set based on the latest sports headlines
-Weekend work is to be expected
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (i.e. communications, graphic design, new media, broadcast)
- Must be strong with Adobe Photoshop
- Working knowledge of the rest of Adobe Creative Suite (notably Premiere, AfterEffects and Illustrator)
- Experience with control room/studio/newsroom environment
- Knowledgeable about sports
- Ability to function in fast-paced environment
-Minimum 1 year professional experience preferred
