Job Description Part Inspector - Quality Assurance Full-Time | 2nd Shift | Temp-to-Hire | Monday-Thursday | 3:30 PM - 1:00 AM Looking for a role where attention to detail and quality make a real impact. We're seeking a detail-oriented Part Inspector to join a growing manufacturing team in the St. Louis area.

What You'll Do Perform visual and dimensional inspections of machined parts, sheet metal components, and assemblies Verify completed manufacturing processes meet required specifications Compare finished products to drawings, work instructions, revisions, and part numbers Inspect prototype and non-conforming parts for quality concerns Identify defects, damage, and dimensional variances Use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, comparators, scales, microscopes, and CMM equipment Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation Support production teams by providing guidance on quality standards and specifications Follow safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized work environment What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED required Previous manufacturing, inspection, or quality assurance experience preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and dimensional drawings Experience using measuring and inspection equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Problem-solving mindset and commitment to quality Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift Frequent use of hands and arms to inspect and measure parts Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach as needed Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally Strong visual acuity, including close vision and depth perception Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment Benefits Competitive Pay Full-Time Schedule Monday-Thursday Work Week Opportunity for Advancement Long-Term Career Potential Hands-On Manufacturing Experience Work with Advanced Inspection Equipment Stable Manufacturing Environment Why Consider This Opportunity.
