Responsibilities:-> Quantity: 10,000 units per size
> 2 clasp sizes
> AQL: 1.5
- The client has identified issues with the clasp not retracting properly and would like the inspection to follow the protocol below:
> Sampling-Randomly selected cartons/boxes
> Inspection Method-Cycle each sampled clasp 50 times by fully opening the trigger and allowing it to retract
> Major Defects-Stuck open / does not retract within the 50-cycle count, Clasp does not fully close, leaving any visible gap
> Minor Defects-Noticeable pause before retracting, Spring feels sticky or does not glide smoothly.
Technical Qualifications:- Minimum 23 years conducting Pre-Shipment Inspections (PSI) on consumer goods
- Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) experience with tools, hardware, and/or related manufacturing industry
- Familiar with AQL sampling
- Able to complete inspection reports within time deadline
- Experience with tools and hardware
- Strong hands-on experience with visual, dimensional, and packaging inspections
- Proficient in professional inspection reporting (photos, findings, AQL results)
