Steel Craft is looking for a Quality Technician to help ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer expectations. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with precision measuring equipment, and collaborating with production teams, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
- Conduct destructive and non-destructive product testing.
- Monitor production processes and identify quality concerns before they become larger issues.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
- Assist with quality audits and support compliance with company and customer requirements.
- Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Help calibrate and maintain inspection equipment.
- Partner with production and engineering teams to improve quality and reduce defects.
- Contribute ideas that improve manufacturing processes and product quality.

What You'll Bring
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred
- Experience using precision measuring equipment
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, quality systems, and Lean Manufacturing principles
- Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Experience with ERP or quality management software is a plus
