Summary

Home To Stay is seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Social Media Marketing Intern to support our branding, digital marketing, and community outreach initiatives. This hands-on internship offers the opportunity to gain real-world experience in content creation, social media strategy, employer branding, and digital communications while supporting a growing healthcare organization dedicated to helping older adults and individuals with disabilities remain safely at home.

Responsibilities, Duties & Projects
  • Create engaging social media graphics, short-form videos, and written content

  • Schedule and publish content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms

  • Assist with recruitment marketing campaigns to attract caregivers and office staff

  • Support the development and organization of Canva brand templates and marketing assets

  • Research social media trends and recommend new content ideas

  • Monitor engagement metrics and prepare basic performance reports

  • Assist with photography and video content for company events, employee recognition, and community outreach

  • Support marketing and community engagement initiatives as assigned

Student Eligibility & Qualifications

To be eligible for this internship through the NJ Career Accelerator Internship Grant Program, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Current New Jersey undergraduate student

  • Current New Jersey graduate student

  • Recent New Jersey college graduate (must have graduated within one year prior to the internship start date)

  • Current undergraduate student who is a permanent New Jersey resident (eligibility determined on a case-by-case basis)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Canva; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

  • Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Creative eye for design, branding, and visual storytelling

  • Organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Basic understanding of social media marketing, engagement, and analytics

  • Professional, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality

  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Interest in healthcare, aging services, human services, or community-based organizations is a plus
