Job description

SUMMARY
The Department of Visual and Media Arts is seeking Adjunct Instructors with expertise in the areas of Studio Art, Graphic Design, or Cinema. Responsibilities include teaching multiple classes to students in a Major or Minor program, instructing additional classes as needed, and assisting at special events/productions. This role requires a strong commitment to the Christian faith, as well as excellence in teaching and service.
Palm Beach Atlantic University is a comprehensive Christian university whose mission is to equip students to grow in wisdom, lead with conviction, and serve God boldly, emphasizing moral, spiritual, and intellectual development.
STATUS:
Applications reviewed on a rolling basis until positions are filled.
EDUCATION:
Successful candidates will have earned an MFA in their respective discipline, or commensurate professional experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstrated expertise in the discipline.
  • Prior collegiate-level teaching experience, preferred.
  • Commitment to teaching excellence and service to the college, university, and community.
  • Demonstrated Christian commitment and the ability to integrate faith into coursework.
