Job description

onsemi is looking for a highly skilled and driven Visual Designer to join our global Brand and Marketing team based at our corporate office in Scottsdale, AZ where design is not just support but a core driver of how our story, solutions and innovations come to life.
We're building a team of true creatives, people energized by bold ideas, visual storytelling and the challenge of pushing beyond the expected. Designers who don't just execute but elevate, bringing fresh thinking, strong instincts and visually striking solutions to every project, whether it's a global campaign, immersive event or digital experience.
This is a hands-on creative role for someone who wants to stay close to the work, owning ideas from concept through execution while influencing the direction and impact of what we create. You'll take on complex, high-visibility projects, transforming strategic inputs into compelling, scalable design that resonates across a global audience.
You'll be part of a tight-knit, high-performing creative team, collaborating across North America, EMEA and APAC to shape a cohesive, modern and unmistakable onsemi brand experience. Along the way, you'll help raise the bar, bringing forward ideas, craft and creative perspective that challenge convention and move the work forward.
Our Creative Principles
  • We believe great design tells a story: clear, compelling and impossible to ignore
  • We push beyond the expected to create work that feels modern, intentional and bold
  • We value ideas as much as execution: strong thinking drives strong visuals
  • We design for impact and outcomes, not just deliverables
  • We embrace new tools and technologies to move faster and create smarter
  • We hold a high bar for craft, detail and consistency because it matters
  • We work as a team across regions and disciplines to create a unified global brand
  • We challenge each other to do better and support each other to get there

Responsibilities

  • Lead design initiatives from concept through final delivery, ensuring all outputs meet brand, quality and production standards
  • Translate stakeholder input and business needs into clear, effective visual solutions
  • Deliver work across print, digital, event environments and multimedia design
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across all deliverables, including typography, layout, color and brand application

Expanded Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end creative solutions: deliver work that drives usability, adoption and business impact
  • Design scalable systems: create templates, frameworks and assets that enable global consistency
  • Manage projects independently: define scope, timelines and priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Partner with cross-functional teams: align with stakeholders and guide decisions through strong design rationale
  • Collaborate globally: work across NA, EMEA and APAC to ensure consistent execution
  • Enable self-service: develop tools such as Adobe Express templates that empower teams to create on-brand content
  • Ensure production excellence: deliver vendor-ready files and maintain high quality standards
  • Leverage AI tools: improve speed, iteration and output quality using modern workflows such as Firefly
  • Execute high-quality designs: apply strong fundamentals across Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Create video and motion content: develop and edit assets using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Support 3D and spatial design: contribute to event and environmental concepts using tools like Cinema 4D or similar

Qualifications
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, New Media or Fine Arts or equivalent
  • 3-5+ years of relevant design experience in agency or corporate environments
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating:
    • Brand systems and identity work
    • Campaign and multi-channel execution
    • Event and environmental design
    • High-quality production work

Core Skills and Capabilities
  • Advanced proficiency with print, digital and motion in Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Working knowledge of AI-enabled creative tools such as Adobe Firefly
  • Experience building scalable design systems and templates
  • Strong understanding of print and digital production processes
  • Experience working in project management tools such as Workfront or similar

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with 3D tools such as Cinema 4D, Blender and SketchUp
  • Experience supporting large-scale events and environments
  • Experience working across global teams and time zones
  • Familiarity with UX and UI and accessibility best practices

Professional Attributes
  • Operates with a high degree of ownership, accountability and independence
  • Outcome-focused with the ability to connect design work to business impact
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Exercises sound judgment in ambiguous or fast-moving situations
  • Communicates clearly and effectively across teams and regions
  • Able to influence stakeholders and guide decisions with confidence
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to support team success
