Overview

Evolver has an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Design Intern to gain valuable workplace experience with a professional company, while having a direct impact on our brand identity and visual communications. The intern will contribute to a variety of initiatives aimed at elevating our visual presence, supporting digital and print design needs, and helping communicate our value across audiences.

This is a paid position, and the candidate shouldย be in an accredited degree program and capable of working in a hybrid work environment based in Reston.

Responsibilities

Tasks and assignments will vary based on current workload and projects; however, this position will include a variety of design and creative production activities (supporting visual assets for digital channels, internal and external presentations, branding, social media graphics, marketing collateral, and layout design).

Duties include:

  • Designing visual assets for social media, websites, and digital campaigns
  • Creating graphics and layouts for presentations, reports, and proposals
  • Assisting with implementation of new Evolver brand across assets
  • Supporting the development of infographics, diagrams, and promotional materials
  • Performing administrative tasks to support the day-to-day operations of the marketing and communications team

Basic Requirements

  • Must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours and maximum of 30 hours per week in a hybrid work environment based in Reston, VA
  • Enrolled in an accredited degree program in Graphic Design; be in good standing, and have completed at least their freshman year
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Familiarity with MS 365, especially PowerPoint

Preferred Requirements

  • Strong interest in designing for technology services and professional audiences
  • Demonstrated creativity, attention to detail, and ability to follow brand guidelines
  • Experience creating social media graphics for platforms like LinkedIn
  • Knowledge of WordPress asset formatting or basic video editing is a plus
