Key responsibilities

  • Design high-impact sales proposals, pitch decks, and executive-facing materials to effectively communicate complex concepts and campaign ideas.

  • Collaborate with Strategy, Sales, and Client Services teams to interpret briefs and translate them into compelling visual storytelling.

Job description

At Viral Nation, we specialize in building social-first ecosystems for brands to connect with the modern consumer journey. Our integrated solutions align strategy, talent, media, and technology with culturally relevant creativity to scale the world's fastest-growing digital brands. Viral Nation offers a fluid, creative, and growth-oriented environment that will support your ambitions to apply your talents in an open, collaborative, and fast-paced culture. Our ability to stay at the forefront of the industry has fuelled our success and will guide us in paving the path forward. We're driven to push boundaries and think beyond today to deliver strategies, and we're just getting started.

While we continuously exceed our goals, we need your help – our success is only as great as our people. Strong performance leads to high expectations, and we must keep raising the bar!

As a Presentation & Visual Designer, you are on the pulse of the latest in design, innovation, art, tech, and culture. You think about your work from multiple angles and understand how audiences interact with the visuals you put into the world. At your core, you're a visual storyteller, able to transform strategy, insights, and ideas into clear, compelling presentations. This role focuses heavily on presentation and deck design, helping bring complex concepts, campaign ideas, and performance insights to life through thoughtful visual communication. Working closely with Strategy, Sales, and Client Services teams, you will design high-impact decks, executive-facing materials, and visual narratives that elevate our ideas and showcase our creative capabilities to clients and prospects.

*Submission of a strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of design styles and projects is required with application.*

What You'll Do Here:

Presales & Proposal Design

  • Design polished, high-impact sales proposals, RFP responses, and new business pitch decks that position Viral Nation compellingly to prospective clients.
  • Craft visually persuasive upsell proposals for existing clients, presenting new scopes, expanded services, and growth opportunities in a clear and compelling format.
  • Translate complex campaign strategies, audience insights, platform capabilities, and performance data into clear, visually compelling slides optimized for executive-level decision-makers.
  • Produce multiple visual approaches for complex content — frameworks, comparisons, problem/solution narratives, and "why us"stories — that guide a prospect toward conversion.
  • Build and maintain scalable proposal templates and master slides in Google Slides, ensuring speed and consistency across the sales pipeline.

Visual Craft & Execution

  • Leverage core Google Slides design tools — shapes, color, typography, and intentional spacing — to establish strong information hierarchy and visual clarity.
  • Design compelling concept mockups and creative visualizations that represent campaign ideas and strategic thinking in ways that generate excitement and build stakeholder buy-in.
  • Source and integrate visual imagery — photography, illustration, iconography, and motion stills — purposefully throughout pitch narratives to reinforce the story, evoke emotion, and make the work feel real.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail across all deliverables: precision in formatting, alignment, spacing, and consistency.
  • Ensure strict adherence to brand guidelines while finding creative ways to make each proposal feel tailored and distinctive to the prospect.
  • Maintain a high standard of craft under tight deadlines, managing multiple concurrent proposals without compromising quality.

AI-Augmented Design

  • Leverage AI design tools — including image generation, smart layout, and content assistance platforms — to accelerate ideation, expand creative output, and maintain quality at scale.
  • Use AI-assisted workflows to rapidly prototype visual concepts, produce bespoke imagery, and explore multiple creative directions without sacrificing turnaround time.
  • Stay ahead of the evolving AI design landscape, proactively identifying tools and techniques that increase the speed, scale, and sophistication of proposal output.
  • Apply AI tooling with editorial judgment — knowing when generated assets elevate a pitch and when human craft and refinement are what the moment requires.

Collaboration & Workflow

  • Partner closely with Strategy, Sales, and Client Services teams to interpret briefs, understand the prospect context, and elevate the narrative through design.
  • Translate sales positioning, proof points, and competitive differentiators into visual storytelling that strengthens the pitch.
  • Present research, performance data, and case study results in ways that are both strategically sound and visually persuasive.
  • Stay current on presentation design best practices and evolving tools that enhance workflow efficiency and proposal quality.

What You'll Need To Have:

  • 3+ years of professional design experience, ideally within an agency, marketing, sales enablement, or business development environment.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong proposal and pitch deck design, with clear examples of translating complex information into persuasive, executive-ready visuals.
  • Expert proficiency in Google Slides, including template creation, master slide management, and scalable presentation systems.
  • Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, and information design with a commercial storytelling sensibility.
  • Proven ability to work at high volume and speed without sacrificing craft — you know how to produce quality work fast.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in layout, alignment, typography, and formatting consistency.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working closely with sales and strategy stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma is a plus, but not required for success in this role.
This role has an annual salary range of $70,000 to $85,000

This range reflects the full scope and progression of the role, from building capability to operating with sustained impact at a higher level. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits and total rewards package designed to support our team as they grow with us.

Where an offer falls within this range is determined through the interview process. Candidates are benchmarked by the hiring team based on role scope, relevant experience, skill alignment, and expected impact, using consistent and objective criteria.
