We are seeking a Visual Merchandising Central Coordinator who will serve as the operational backbone of ERIK'S visual merchandising program. This role owns the planning, coordination, organization, and execution required to support visual merchandising across all ERIK'S locations. Success comes from exceptional organization, attention to detail, and the ability to transform strategic initiatives into executable plans.
Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Purchasing, Operations, Warehouse, and Retail Leadership, this position ensures every merchandising initiative is planned, resourced, documented, and delivered successfully.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Project Management:
    • Manage multiple visual merchandising projects simultaneously.
    • Develop detailed implementation plans.
    • Establish project timelines and milestones.
    • Coordinate responsibilities across departments.
    • Track progress and communicate project status.
  • Retail Floor Planning:
    • Maintain accurate floor plans for every ERIK'S location.
    • Update layouts as assortment and strategies evolve.
    • Optimize fixture placement and customer flow.
    • Produce merchandising layouts and implementation guides.
  • Fixture Management:
    • Vendor communication and asset procurement
    • Inventory management across our central warehouse and retail locations
    • Distribution
    • Storage planning
    • Fixture lifecycle management
    • Coordinate fixture needs for new stores and special projects
  • Seasonal Transition Planning:
    • Build implementation calendars
    • Develop merchandising plans in coordination with internal partners
    • Coordinate fixture movement
    • Work with purchasing product flow and warehouse logistics
  • Asset Library & Documentation:
    • Create and maintain merchandising guidelines
    • Produce fixture and display instructions

Qualifications:
Required
  • 2-5+ years in project management, visual merchandising, retail operations, or store planning
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience managing multiple congruent projects
  • Excellent written communication
  • Strong Microsoft Office and project management software skills
  • Experience with CAD or retail layout software preferred (MacDraft, AutoCAD, etc.)
