Marketing & Design Coordinator

Department: Marketing

Reports To: Director of Marketing

Compensation: $60,000-$70,000

Travel: Approximately 5% for trade shows and events

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

We are looking for a creative and organized Marketing & Design Coordinator to support our marketing team across both content execution and visual design. This is a hybrid role built for someone who can write email copy in the morning and design the graphic that goes with it in the afternoon. You will be responsible for producing branded visual assets across digital, print, and social, while also supporting the day-to-day execution of campaigns, email programs, trade shows, and website updates. You will work directly from our brand guidelines and established templates, with creative direction provided by the marketing team. You will also be expected to develop a working knowledge of Inovonics' products and the security and senior living markets we serve to succeed and grow in this role. This role is well suited for someone early in their career who has a strong eye for design, hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, and the organizational skills to juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Support

  • Assist in creating and formatting marketing content, including blogs, email campaigns, product brochures, case studies, and web pages.
  • Support the content marketing calendar by tracking deadlines, coordinating reviews, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Help gather input from internal subject matter experts, customers, and partners to inform content development.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging standards.

Graphic Design

  • Create branded visual assets for campaigns, social media, email, digital advertising, and print materials.
  • Design and produce trade show graphics, sales collateral, product brochures, and event materials.
  • Adapt existing templates and develop new layouts that align with brand guidelines.
  • Size and optimize graphics for correct specifications across platforms, including web, social, and print.
  • Maintain the team's visual asset library, keeping files organized and templates up to date.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to bring campaign concepts to life visually.

Digital Marketing

  • Assist in building and deploying segmented email campaigns, including newsletters, promotions, and product announcements.
  • Help manage email list segmentation, maintain list hygiene, and support email marketing efforts.
  • Plan, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms in line with the content calendar.
  • Monitor social channels, respond to inquiries in a timely manner, and flag relevant activity to the team.
  • Update and maintain website content using WordPress to support marketing campaigns and business needs.

Campaign Execution

  • Coordinate logistics for integrated marketing campaigns across print, digital, and social media.
  • Ensure ad creatives are delivered on time and meet technical specifications for each platform.
  • Track and report on campaign performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Trade Show and Event Support

  • Own end-to-end logistics for trade shows and events, including booth coordination, vendor communication, and shipping.
  • Design and produce event materials including booth graphics, signage, handouts, and promotional items.
  • Maintain the trade show calendar and keep the team on track with pre-show checklists and deadlines.
  • Manage post-event follow-up activities and help assess event performance.

General Marketing Operations

  • Maintain organized project files, asset libraries, and marketing documentation.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and partners as needed.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the marketing team.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years of experience in a marketing or graphic design role, internship, or equivalent.
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce quality visuals for print, digital, web, and social media.
  • Willingness and ability to learn Inovonics products and markets. You will be expected to develop a solid understanding of Inovonics' product lines, the security and senior living industries, and the customers we serve.
  • Strong attention to detail and a consistent eye for brand accuracy and visual quality.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting ability.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement).
  • Experience managing website content using WordPress.
  • Background or interest in physical security or senior living markets.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven tools that support content creation or image generation.
