Data Analyst

The analyst will leverage data to provide actionable insights and play an important role in solving critical challenges through a combination of advanced data analysis, design thinking methodologies and business analysis capabilities. This person will possess strong technical capabilities in data processing, reporting, and visualization combined with a creative approach to presenting complex data through compelling visuals and documentation. In addition to building dashboards and performing in-depth analysis, the person will create visually appealing pages and presentations using collaboration tools to effectively communicate findings and support decision-making. Conduct advanced data analysis, including data mining, trend analysis to provide actionable insights. Develop interactive dashboards and visualization using tools like Power BI, Tableau. MS PowerPoint and MS Excel. Create user-friendly documentation, reports and pages in collaboration tools like SharePoint. Apply design-thinking principle to design data solutions meeting business needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and support data-driven decision-making. Maintain data accuracy through data validation, cleaning and enrichment process. Document analytical processes and maintain a knowledge base for future reference.

Must-Have Skills
  • Strong data analysis skills โ€“ Proven experience in data analysis and data story-telling.
  • Data Visualization expertise โ€“ Proficiency in tools like MS Excel, MS Power Point, Power BI, Tableau or equivalent to create compelling dashboards and visual reports.
  • Sound technical knowledge and good interpersonal skills
Software Skills
  • Excellent with MS Office suite of products, Confluence, SharePoint, PowerBI, Tableau, Flowcharting / Diagramming tools โ€“ Visio, Draw.IO etc.
Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with Cloud-based data platforms (e.g,. AWS, Azure)
  • Experience with advanced analytics.

Experience Required
  • 4-5 Years of experience, Experience with Financial Service Industries and exposure to Application / Technology Modernization, Ability to work in Agile
