Job description


Location: In office, Modesto

Compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.


Essential Functions Include:

  • Maintains strong relationships with as many as 10 suppliers in Asia with oversite from both the Senior Procurement Development Manager
  • Is the conduit between those suppliers and Thrive operations in North America including capacity planning, logistics, long range planning, short term production needs and reporting and inventory reporting
  • In addition, will work with the Quality team to ensure the supplier is providing quality documents, following up on corrective action plans and other technical follow-ups
  • Financially, will oversee billings are functioning properly, deal with discrepancies and credit processing
  • Support new launches, documentation requirements and timelines to launch
  • Develop supplier performance scorecards, risk assessment, and continuous improvement metrics
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Include: 

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of experience in a similar role and field. 
  • Excellent excel Skills – advanced with a fluent capability in pivot table work
  • Strong investigative skills 
  • A self-starter who has a strong ability to dig in and solve problems
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (JF/D365 a plus)
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of cost structures, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills 
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and process discipline.
  • Global Experience preferred
  • Bilingual in Mandarin or Vietnamese is preferred

  • Occasional travel - less than 10%.  Internation in focus
  • Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees
