Job description

Position Summary
Capri Communities is seeking a skilled and creative Social Media & Design Specialist to support both our resident experience and public-facing brand presence. This role is responsible for designing a wide range of marketing materials, including event collateral, resident-facing templates, and digital assets for web and social platforms, while also managing and executing social media strategies across corporate channels.
The Social Media & Design Specialist plays a key role in maintaining Capri's brand identity and messaging through both visual design and digital storytelling, ensuring a consistent voice across platforms. This individual will manage multiple projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while planning content, supporting campaigns, and analyzing performance to enhance engagement and overall brand impact.
Primary Responsibilities
  • External Marketing Requests: Design collateral for public-facing community events, including flyers, landing page graphics, social media graphics, invitations, TV slides and signage
  • Community Social Media Oversight: Manage social media for external community events, including content publishing, paid advertising, brand voice consistency and training staff on the use of community business pages
  • Corporate Social Media Management: Oversee Capri Communities' Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts, sharing company initiatives, updates, blog articles and Enjoy Life content
  • Social Media Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze monthly social media performance, including growth, reach, and engagement metrics, and prepare graphs and visual reports for internal meetings
  • Miscellaneous Design Tasks: Assist with a variety of ongoing needs, including award certificates, seasonal promotions, presentation templates, large-scale event materials and photo/file organization
  • Project Management & Creative Process:
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and refine creative concepts
  • Implement feedback and revisions effectively
  • Manage deadlines, ensuring ample time for internal review and approvals
  • Multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Prepare artwork for print and digital formats (CMYK/RGB, bleeds, file exports)
  • Organize and save files appropriately within the internal server
  • Brand Management: Maintain Capri's brand standards and guidelines, ensuring all marketing materials support the company's mission and visual identity
  • Print Production Coordination: Assist with internal print requests for materials such as invitations, postcards and other large event needs
  • Communication & Collaboration: Work closely with the Creative & Marketing teams to assess design needs and deliver high-quality creative solutions

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Design Arts or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven proficiency in graphic design-able to execute high-quality work independently
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) required
  • Experience managing business social media accounts across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, including content planning, posting and platform best practices
  • Experience managing or supporting paid social media campaigns, including audience targeting, budgeting and performance optimization
  • Ability to track and analyze social media performance metrics and translate insights into clear reports and visual presentations
  • Familiarity with Canva is a plus (training provided if needed)
  • Strong understanding of design principles, branding and typography
  • Experience preparing files for both print and digital production
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop creative solutions
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization and time management
  • A collaborative, team-player mentality with a passion for design
  • Preferred skill but not required: Experience with event, candid lifestyle or headshot photography and photo editing
