Senior Visual Designer
Pay Range: $63.75
Location & Onsite Requirements: Glendale, 3 days/week on site

The Visual Designer will help drive our design language, brand, and visual design needs across the company. This role sits within the Experience Design team, which is a critical group in the Strategic Operations department of the organization. The ideal candidate for this role will help drive the visual design direction and develop a design language that amplifies and aligns to our brands. The best person for this role has a clear understanding of how design impacts an audience and how it is a key driver of communication.
In this role, the Visual Designer will apply their skills & passion for design to guide the design process. With strong storytelling ability and a well-developed design perspective, this role will partner with the Experience Design team to bring our narrative and value proposition to life through visual presentations, artifacts, and templates, in addition to graphic & visual design, in digital and physical applications. This role will help refine and develop our brand and style guide. The ideal Visual Design candidate is creative, driven, detail oriented, organized, and an excellent communicator.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for concept development for business segments within the team, translating complex ideas into effective design artifacts and graphics.
  • Develop brand identity elements, design standards, and style guides to ensure all creative aspects of a project meet stakeholdersโ€™ expectations and our brand.
  • Ability to design and deliver all the necessary graphics, assets, (style guides, presentation templates, branding materials) and documentation for key project requests.
  • Build client presentations, with the support of the design team that delight and inspire our clients and align to our brand guidelines.
  • Must have the ability to present and articulate design direction, ideas, and concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with fellow designers (Visual, UI, UX, Product) to help evolve our design language and branding efforts.
  • Generate design work plans; accurately estimate work items and communicate dependencies and issues as necessary.
  • Participate in the development of the larger design team through dialogue, key initiatives, and collaborative projects (for example, tool and process research, template and pattern creations)
  • Inspire new ways of thinking and explore the unknown using fresh and unique approaches to design problems.
