Data Center LV Systems Design Coordination and Commissioning Lead : Coordination lead for all low voltage systems . Owns the technical interfaces between subcontractors, trades, and client stakeholders. Mostly coordination and oversight role - not detailed design production. Systems in scope: Telecom backbone and structured cabling (main distribution frame / intermediate distribution frame, fiber, pathways), Small wire systems, Physical security (access control, closed-circuit television, intrusion detection), Building Management System (BMS), Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS), Network infrastructure and inter-system interfaces, etc Responsibilities : - Serve as discipline subject matter expert for all low voltage scope. - Coordinate multiple subcontractors across overlapping technical scopes; identify scope gaps and duplications before issuance. - Manage interfaces between BMS, EPMS, telecom, and network layers, including protocol-level integration (BACnet, Modbus, Simple Network Management Protocol). - Review design documentation for constructability; flag field-execution risk during design phase. - Allocate and sequence resources across telecom backbone, small wire, security, audio/visual, and power monitoring workstreams. - Interface directly with client Information Technology and Security Vice Presidents; translate design intent, field status, and technical risk for executive audiences. - Produce structured, recurring written reporting to client on scope status, risks, and decisions required. - Provide construction oversight through installation. - Support commissioning, startup, and inter-system integration testing. - BICSI RCDD ( Registered Communications Distribution Designer ) Certification will be a big plus
