Description

Leidos is actively interviewing for a Visualization Specialist to join our team in Springfield, VA. 

The Mid-Level Visualization Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality visual communication products that support organizational operations, intelligence production, and division leadership. This position requires a strong command of industry-standard design and multimedia software, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple recurring and ad hoc projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate is a creative and organized professional who can translate complex information into clear, compelling visual products. 

Key Responsibilities 

Recurring Project Management 

  • Manage and produce monthly and bi-monthly publications including newsletters and other scheduled deliverables 

  • Maintain and update Recall Rosters on a recurring basis, ensuring accuracy and consistent formatting 

  • Catalog and visualize key production data to support organizational awareness and reporting 

Graphic Design & Branding 

  • Design and develop new tool logos that align with organizational branding standards 

  • Create, update, and maintain team seals and shields, ensuring visual consistency and accuracy across all versions 

  • Apply design best practices to deliver polished, professional visual products 

Intelligence Production Support 

  • Provide visualization aid to intelligence production teams, transforming analytical findings into clear and impactful graphics, charts, and visual layouts 

  • Collaborate with analysts and subject matter experts to ensure visual products accurately represent the underlying information 

Web & Content Management 

  • Maintain and update the Division SharePoint page, ensuring content is current, well-organized, and visually consistent 

Multimedia Support 

  • Support video production workflows using Adobe Premiere Pro, including video transcription tasks and multimedia formatting 

Leadership Engagement 

  • Host and facilitate Bi-Weekly Visualization Check-In Meetings with Division Leadership 

  • Present project updates, gather feedback, and align ongoing visual products with leadership priorities and organizational goals 

Basic Qualifications 

  • 4+ years of experience in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field 

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft PowerPoint 

  • Strong understanding of visual design principles, including typography, color theory, layout, and branding 

  • Ability to communicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams 

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple concurrent tasks 

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to be approved for Polygraph 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience supporting intelligence or government organizations 

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite beyond Illustrator (e.g., Premiere Pro, InDesign, Photoshop) 

  • Experience maintaining SharePoint sites or similar content management platforms 

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia Arts, or a related field

Pay Range:Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00
