Job description

The Retail Store Visual Merchandiser is responsible for creating and maintaining visually appealing merchandise displays throughout the showroom. This role partners with Visual leadership and store management to execute merchandising strategies, coordinate furniture and accessory placement, maintain visual standards, and create an exceptional shopping experience for every guest.
What You'll Do
  • Create and maintain furniture, lighting, and accessory displays.
  • Execute floor moves and update displays, signage, and point-of-sale materials.
  • Maintain showroom appearance and complete daily store recovery.
  • Coordinate incoming merchandise, tagging, and showroom placement.
  • Follow Ashley visual merchandising standards and direction from Visual leadership.
  • Stay current on furniture, design, fashion, and merchandising trends.
  • Partner with store leadership and warehouse associates on merchandising and showroom needs.
  • Help store associates understand and maintain visual standards.

What You'll Need
  • Associate degree in Interior Design, Merchandising, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 years of retail visual merchandising experience, preferably in home furnishings.
  • Knowledge of interior design, visual merchandising, and space planning.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
