About TAAC Group

TAAC Group is a multi-brand holding company operating at the intersection of art, culture, and commerce. Our flagship brand, Smard Art, is the world's leading Black art retail brand. Through our direct-to-consumer channels and major retail partners, including TJX (HomeGoods, HomeSense, Marshalls, TK Maxx, and Winners) and Walmart, we serve customers across the globe.

Role Summary

You will shape how the largest Black art retailer in the world shows up across every surface, from the art that inspires our drops to the TikTok that goes viral to the activation that gets people talking.

  • Collaborate with artists, our 40-creator network, and influencer programs (Smard Y, Smard X) on visual direction

Organic Content and Social

  • Storyboard and brief UGC creators
  • Build campaign narratives around launches such as the Juneteenth BOGO, the New Era Collection, the Dearra Taylor coffee table book, and the Lorvae collaboration
  • Partner with the community team on ambassador content, partnerships, and cultural activations

Graphic Design and Campaign Execution

  • Design static and motion assets for paid channels (Meta, TikTok), email (Klaviyo flows, BOGO campaign), and organic social
  • Produce on-brand graphics for landing pages, product launches, and campaign rollouts
  • Translate brand strategy into shoot briefs, ad concepts, and video direction
  • Support activations and in-person moments, including the Atlanta showroom, events, and pop-ups

Must-Have

  • Strong graphic design skills with a portfolio demonstrating range across digital and campaign work
  • Working proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Fluency in TikTok and Instagram as both a creator and a consumer
  • Strong cultural awareness, especially around Black culture, music, fashion, and art
  • Excellent brief-writing and concept articulation
  • A clear point of view on visual taste, including the artists, brands, and references you draw from

Nice-to-Have

  • Fine art or illustration background
  • On-camera comfort or experience directing talent
  • Motion design or video editing skills (CapCut, After Effects)
  • Experience with direct-to-consumer, art, or fashion brands
  • Event or activation production background
  • Photography or shoot production experience

Creative Submission Task (important note)

To be submitted alongside the resume and portfolio. This task is required for all candidates.

  • Three references that inspire you, with one sentence on why each
  • A 60-second TikTok concept for Smard Art tied to a current cultural moment
  • One graphic design sample you are most proud of, with a brief explanation of the brief and your thinking
