POSITION SUMMARY
As a Noregon Sales Professional for Noregon Systems, you will be responsible for prospecting and cold-calling sales leads in your territory. You will need to travel to prospective customer sites to deliver sales pitches, provide demonstrations and of course, close deals! You need to be a self-motivated, tech savvy individual driven to succeed. Familiarity with the Automotive/Transportation industry a plus.

UNCAPPED COMMISSION STRUCTURE
RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Manage your territory by developing new business sales and prospects, keeping an active schedule sufficient to grow revenue.
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager on territory management and account planning.
  • Develop and implement an aggressive prospecting plan to uncover sales opportunities.
  • Generate leads through self-conducted research and networking, actively making multiple cold calls and setting appointments looking for new business opportunities.
  • Conduct 4+ demos per week showcasing how our technology will improve their business and reduce repair times
  • Train customers to ensure renewal of software.
  • Utilize ERP to record, maintain & report customer information.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Minimum of three (3) years outside sales experience
  • Associate degree in Automotive Technology or related field preferred but not required.
  • Experience in the diagnostic tool industry a plus.
  • Cold calling and prospecting: good business acumen including sales quota achievement and closing sales.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Outstanding relationship-building skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to understand and overcome customer's buying objections.
  • Strong time-management, organizational and prioritization abilities
  • Ability to adopt to quick business changes
  • Excellent follow up skills and a sense of urgency when dealing with customers
  • General proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
  • Requires a valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle.
  • Consent to undergo background check

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • This position will have no supervisory responsibilities

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • This job operates in a home office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment.
  • Hours will be divided between working out of a home office and traveling to prospective clients' businesses providing demos.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • This is active role with some on- and off-site vehicle demonstration may be required. This would require the ability to enter heavy-duty trucks and gain access to various engine components as needed, in addition to standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, bending, and stooping as necessary.
  • Basic motor skills and manual dexterity for extensive computer usage are required.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time is required.
  • Talking, hearing and close vision abilities are required.
  • Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to withstand the stress of traveling, including extended hours driving.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Up to 75%
