Traveling Radiation Therapist

RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. Must have ARIA and True Beam experience. No dimensions or orientation needed for this role. Traveler will start directly in the clinic. Required skills/certs/exp: Minimum years of experience: 2 years of experience required. Traveler experience: Clinic will not accept first-time travelers. Locals accepted/rate difference: yes. Work setting skills required: adult outpatient. Treatment skills required: external beam therapy. Record and verify systems skills required: Varis-Vision/ARIA. Treatment units skills required: ARIA certs: ARRT T only. Preferred skills/certs/exp: pretreatment skills: CT simulation & simulation of treatment sites. Beam modifying/positioning: CBCT/kV/mV imaging. Treatment: benign brain tumors, heterotopic bone, IMRT - intensity modulated radiotherapy, keloids, prostate cancer with seeds/fiducials, respiratory gating & stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS). Treatment units: Vision RT certs: BLS. Job details: ratios: 1:1; avg. daily census: 25; visits/day: 25; rooms: 1. Shift: 40 hours can be offered. Will accept 13 weeks. 8-hour days; 07:00 - 15:30. RTO: 7 days max for AYA auto offer. Call requirement: none. Float requirement: none. Weekend requirement: none. Patient diagnoses: The clinic treats only the adult population, from benign disease to cancer diagnosis. Special procedures/unit details: The only special procedures we do are SRS stereotactic radio surgery and SBRT stereotactic body radiation therapy. 99% of patients are outpatients (1% are inpatients). Special equipment: True Beam. Unit systems: Aria/Epic. Scheduling type: no dimensions or orientation needed for this role. Traveler will start directly in the clinic. Unit orientation: per unit needs. Scrubs: not provided. Royal blue.
