Job description

Mortgage Loan Processor (Full Time) - Baton Rouge, LA
  • Days and hours of work are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
JOB DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Gather information and take each file from pre-approval to closing
  • Input proper loan information into the system for processing
  • Responsible for ensuring that all loan documentation is complete accurate verified and complies with company policy
  • Verify loan documents including income credit appraisal and title insurance ultimately preparing application for submittal to underwriting
  • Review file documentation and make sure all items needed are requested
  • Order and coordinate loan documents
  • Meet crucial deadlines requested
  • Perform any additional duties/activities assigned by management
JOB REQUIREMENTS amp; SKILLS
  • 2-5 years mortgage loan processing experience, prefers experience with FHA, VA and USDA products
  • Knowledge of mortgage lending products, documentation, policies and procedures, service and delivery methods
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal/external customers via telephone, email and in person
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Experience working with a Windows-based computer environment
  • Residency in one of the following states is a requirement for the position: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, or Texas.
