Vision Internship information

What is the difference between Vision Internship vs Vision Technician?

AspectVision Internship

Vision Internships are typically short-term, educational programs designed for students or recent graduates to gain exposure to the optometry or vision care industry. They often involve observation, basic assistance, and learning opportunities. Vision Technicians are trained professionals responsible for conducting preliminary eye exams, taking measurements, and assisting optometrists during patient visits. They usually require specific certifications or training and work directly in clinical settings. While both roles support eye care services, internships focus on learning, whereas technician roles involve hands-on patient care.
