About Greene County Vision Centers
Patients can expect a total eye care experience at Greene County Vision Centers. Established in 2005, the practice offers a wide range of optometric services and is well-known in the communities it serves. In addition to primary eye care, the husband and wife Optometrists offer specialties in diagnosing, treating, and managing ocular diseases. To support the practice's goals of growing and expanding services available to the community, the business is looking to add an Associate Optometrist to the team of seven employees.
The practice utilizes state-of-the-art vision care technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of eye diseases. The practice is well-appointed with automated optical equipment and behind-the-scenes functional technology, including Autorefractor, OCT, Zeiss Visual field, Cirrus OCT, and Optos. Patients enjoy a family-friendly experience as they shop the latest eyewear styles from the optical gallery-plus, the Opticians provide personalized support to help patients select the proper frames tailored to medical needs and fashion preferences.
About the Associate Optometrist Opening
Greene County Vision Centers is seeking an Associate Optometrist to provide quality and compassionate care to ensure optimal eye health. You'll have the unique opportunity to care for various patients and conditions, provide comprehensive vision services, recommend vision-enhancing products, and promote good eye health through patient education. On average, two to three patients are cared for hourly. The position can be full-time or part-time, 16 to 40 hours per week (no weekends required), with the flexibility to meet your work-life balance needs! The practice is looking for a candidate who is excited to care for a wide range of patients and has a talent for developing strong relationships with patients, staff, and community members.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will want to continuously develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and be willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.
Minimum qualifications:
• Indiana Optometry License
