QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES:

  • Availability to work Mon - Fri 9a - 9p, and occasional Saturdays.
  • Employed by Fait for a minimum of 18 months is a plus.
  • A High School Diploma or the equivalent in relevant work experience is preferred.
  • Directly related Fulfillment Team Leader experience is a plus.
  • Must be a true team player; personable, professional, flexible, have a high level of integrity.
  • Ability to manage time through multi-tasking and managing several items at once. Must be flexible and work well under
    pressure and easily adapt to change.
  • Possess the strength and endurance to stand and walk for a full scheduled shift, and intermittently lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to connect with our Flex Associates in a way that will promote their success and identify their strengths
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to conduct work in confined spaces.
  • High level of patience, approach-ability, strong leadership and inter-personal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communications.
  • High levels of personal accountability; an ability to be responsible for your own actions.
  • Effectively and efficiently develop and direct Flex staff to complete expected departmental tasks.
  • Ability to problem solve quickly.

RESPONSIBILITIES - HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE VISION include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Support a team of up to 100 Flex Fulfillment Center Associates
  • Coach and mentor team of Flex Associates including, completion of performance reviews, coaching sessions and
    performance improvement plans (PIP's).
  • Advocate for Flex Associates and assist with their professional development
  • Support our Flex Associates through regular touch basis, daily communication, and provide assistance when needed
  • Manage to Company Standards including Units Picked per Hour, Picking Accuracy, Checking Accuracy, Attendance, etc.
  • Display a positive, optimistic and up beat approach during interactions with Flex Staff
  • Identify training opportunities for Flex Associates and develop plans to train our Flex Staff to drive growth and
    engagement
  • Assist in the training and development for our Flex Associates
  • Encourage Flex Associates and connect with them on a professional level to help them with their development
  • Identify Strengths and Opportunities for each Flex Associate to promote their success and ability to reach goals
  • Maintain daily responsibilities of Picking, Checking, Shipping, Inventory, etc. in parallel to supporting Flex Staff
  • Greet Flex Associates at the beginning of their shift and inform them of daily goals and areas of focus
  • Encourage Flex Staff to give their best efforts through the entirety of their shift and support them throughout it
  • Ability to listen well to our Flex Associates and bring their suggestions/questions directly to your Team Lead
  • Identify areas of interest and passion for our Flex Staff to truly understand what they are passionate about
  • Maintain accurate work schedules for all direct reports, manage time off across your team, and approve time sheets.
  • Proactively communicate changes to Flex schedules to Team Leads due to Flex Staff participating in school clubs, sports,
    or other priorities
  • Maintain organized and clean warehouse
  • Ability to keep information strictly confidential and only shared with necessary Management and Human Resource
    Associates.
  • Assist in any task requested by either the direct Manager or any person in Management.
