Job description

The Millwright – Rigger is responsible for handling and installing industrial machinery, reading 
and interpreting mechanical drawings and equipment layouts, and performing precise floor 
layouts for machinery installations with tolerances of up to 1/16 inch over a 100-foot length. 
The position requires the ability to safely inspect and operate industrial power tools, as well as 
safely operate lift trucks with capacities up to 7.5 tons and personnel lifts, including scissor lifts 
and boom lifts. The Millwright must comply with all OSHA regulations and company safety 
policies while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment and working 
effectively with supervisors and fellow team members to complete projects safely and 
efficiently.
Candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience handling and installing industrial 
machinery. OSHA 10 Certification is required, along with a valid lift truck operating license for 
equipment up to a 7.5-ton capacity and a valid personnel lift certification covering both scissor 
lifts and boom lifts. 
Applicants must be capable of reading and understanding mechanical drawings, performing precise machinery layouts, and operating a basic transit when required.
Employees are required to provide a standard wrench set ranging from 1/4 inch to 1-1/4 inches, 
including open-end, box-end, and ratchet wrenches, as well as a socket set. Required personal 
protective equipment includes a hard hat, safety gloves, safety glasses, steel/composite toed 
boots, high-vis safety vest or T-shirt, and hearing protection.
