Role Summary
We are seeking Platform Infrastructure as Code Engineers at the ENG02 and ENG04 levels to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of modern IaC solutions within a secure enterprise hybrid-cloud environment.
These roles support a large-scale program tied to a critical national asset. The environment includes servers, workstations, storage, networks, virtualized/cloud platforms, and custom hardware used for product development and testing. The work includes hands-on engineering, automation, documentation, baseline control, and support of secure infrastructure platforms.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support deployment, implementation, modernization, and sustainment of Infrastructure as Code solutions.
  • Develop and maintain automation using Ansible Playbooks, templates, dashboards, scripts, and related tooling.
  • Support integration of container platforms and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Assist with platform architecture, build/test pipeline support, and CI/CD integration.
  • Optimize infrastructure solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability across on-prem, virtualized, and cloud-based environments.
  • Support engineers with specialized tool usage, troubleshooting, and best-practice implementation.
  • Maintain and support COTS/FOSS products within secure enterprise environments.
  • Assist with documentation, configuration baselines, implementation planning, and upgrade activities.
  • Support occasional travel to customer sites for upgrades, deployments, and implementation activities.

Required Qualifications
  • ENG02: 2+ years of related infrastructure, platform, cloud, Linux, or DevOps engineering experience.
  • ENG04: 5+ years of related infrastructure, platform, cloud, Linux, or DevOps engineering experience.
  • BS/BA in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Physics, or related technical field.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, platform automation, integration, cloud, containerization, Infrastructure/Platform as a Service, Linux development, or microservices.
  • Linux system administration experience, preferably RHEL 6.0+.
  • Experience supporting secure enterprise environments with infrastructure automation and configuration management.
  • Experience with Ansible automation frameworks required for ENG02; strongly preferred/expected for ENG04.
  • Agile development methodology experience, such as Scrum or SAFe, required for ENG04; preferred for ENG02.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly required on day one.
  • U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience deploying applications to Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Docker or other container technologies.
  • Experience with Terraform, Consul, LDAP, Tenable, or related infrastructure/security tooling.
  • Experience deploying, configuring, or supporting CI/CD pipeline tools, including Jira / Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
  • Experience with Atlassian tool suite, Cucumber, Eclipse, or Git.
  • Experience with programming or scripting languages, including Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, or Go.
  • Experience with Postgres or SonarQube.
  • General working knowledge of networks, storage, and virtualization.
  • Background installing, configuring, and integrating COTS/FOSS products.
  • Experience implementing scaled Agile frameworks.
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering, especially for senior-level ENG04 candidates.
  • Current CompTIA Security+ certification or ability to obtain, especially for senior-level ENG04 candidates.
