Job Description
Are you a Virtualization Admin who would like to work at an innovative and fast-paced company changing the way doctors interact with their patients? If so, we want to talk to you!
What you'll be doing:
• Working with the Infrastructure Services team, the Virtualization Administrator role focuses on infrastructure products from VMware and Hewlett Packard Enterprises. The Virtualization Administrator will provide implementation and process support to the Virtualization team during an infrastructure upgrade cycle.
• Overall deployment, management and support of virtual infrastructure.
• Work closely with the Virtualization team to provide support in executing server hardware and software upgrades.
• Engage with various technology teams as needed to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues.
• Research and evaluate technology processes for appropriateness. Implement upgrade strategies.
• Hold technical discussions with stakeholders from various parts of the business.
Qualifications
We want our people to be set up for success, so we have a few required skill sets that must be met:
• Enterprise scale experience with the VMware vCenter and vSphere.
• Knowledge of broader infrastructure components (e.g. TCP/IP, Active Directory, DNS etc.)
• Understanding of virtual and physical network, storage and security concepts and practices.
• Experience with change management processes.
• Experience with Window Server platforms.
