How You’ll Contribute

As an APP (PA or NP) with Luro Provider Group, you’ll deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based obesity medicine care to patients enrolled in our virtual programs. You’ll work collaboratively with physicians, dietitians, health coaches, care coordinators, and operational partners to provide comprehensive, patient‑centered care in a fully remote environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct virtual patient assessments and medical histories
  • Diagnose and manage obesity and related chronic conditions
  • Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with clinical protocols and supervision requirements
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress, safety, and treatment response
  • Educate patients on medical and behavioral aspects of obesity care
  • Escalate clinical concerns and adjust care as appropriate
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and participate in case reviews
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the EHR
  • Uphold telehealth, prescribing, and compliance standards
What We’re Looking For Licensure & Education
  • Active PA‑C or NP license and DEA in good standing (required)
    • Preference for these states: CT, MD, NC, NH, OH, RI, TX, VA, VT
  • NP board certified or PA program graduate (accredited)
  • Telehealth eligibility in assigned states
Experience
  • Primary care, obesity medicine, endocrinology, or chronic disease experience (preferred)
  • Telehealth experience (preferred)
Skills & Attributes
  • Strong clinical judgment

  • Comfortable with protocols and supervision requirements
