Full-time

Job description

Why you'll love Exhibitus:

Exhibitus is a leading exhibit design and experiential marketing company with products and services that support live events, trade shows, branded interiors, engagements and virtual/digital environments.

At Exhibitus, we believe the most powerful brand experiences don’t just look good — they create emotional connection, influence behavior, and make people remember who a brand is.

We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Senior Environmental / Experiential Designer to transform creative direction, brand strategy, and client objectives into compelling physical experiences. This is a design-focused role centered on concept development, visualization, and execution. The ideal candidate is a strong visual thinker and prolific designer who enjoys doing the work: generating ideas, exploring spatial solutions, modeling environments, and creating presentation-quality renderings that bring concepts to life.
Reporting to the Creative Director, this individual will collaborate with strategists, graphic designers, account leaders, technical teams, and production partners to design custom exhibits, branded environments, and experiential activations from concept through production handoff.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design custom trade show exhibits, branded environments, experiential activations, and event installations.
  • Translate creative briefs, strategic concepts, and brand guidelines into engaging physical experiences.
  • Develop spatial concepts, floor plans, sketches, mood boards, 3D models, and presentation-quality renderings.
  • Explore multiple design directions and iterate quickly within fast-moving project timelines.
  • Design with storytelling, attendee behavior, sightlines, traffic flow, engagement, hospitality, and accessibility in mind.
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director while contributing thoughtful design recommendations and solutions.
  • Partner with graphic designers, strategists, technical designers, estimators, producers, and fabrication teams throughout the design process.
  • Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining the integrity of the creative concept.
  • Design within budget, fabrication, venue, and logistical constraints.
  • Present design concepts and rationale during internal reviews and client presentations when appropriate.
Qualifications amp; Experience
  • 5+ years of experience designing trade show exhibits, experiential environments, branded spaces, retail experiences, museums, visitor centers, event environments, or related spatial design projects.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating innovative experiential, environmental, exhibition, retail, or branded-environment work.
  • Advanced proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and rendering workflows.
  • Experience with Rhino, Vray, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, SketchUp, or similar modeling platforms.
  • Strong understanding of scale, proportion, materials, lighting, environmental graphics, and spatial storytelling.
  • Solid knowledge of exhibit fabrication methods, construction techniques, and temporary environment design.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance ideation, visualization, and design productivity.
If you're passionate about creating experiences people can walk through, interact with, and remember, we'd love to hear from you.
