The Opportunity
Build, optimize, and support the technology platforms that power healthcare innovation.
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise technology platforms across infrastructure, applications, networking, databases, and security. In this role, you'll work on complex technical environments, ensuring critical systems remain secure, scalable, and highly available while helping drive modernization and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
Manage the day-to-day operation of enterprise platforms, including servers, applications, storage, databases, and networked services.
Monitor, analyze, and optimize system performance, availability, reliability, and capacity.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across multiple environments and technology stacks.
-Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
Partner with technical teams to architect and implement new platforms, services, and infrastructure solutions.
-Lead or support system upgrades, migrations, patching, and lifecycle management initiatives.
-Strengthen platform security through system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and adherence to security best practices.

  • Experience with patching AIX and/or RHEL systems.
  • Experience with VMware or other virtual environments (Hyper-V or Nutanix).
  • Experience with Rubrik for backups.
  • Experience with managing systems in Azure helpful.
  • Experience with identity and access management concepts and technology.
  • Willingness and eagerness to learn new technology concepts and platforms with as-needed guidance from peers and management.
  • Proficient in administering enterprise systems and platforms.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Solid understanding of data structure and database systems. Intermediate scripting and automation skills to streamline operational tasks.
