Pay Range: $76,000 - $95,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications
MITER Brands™ is a residential window and door manufacturer that provides a leading portfolio of window and door brands for the new construction and replacement segments. MITER Brands, also known as Milgard, MI Windows & Doors and PGTI is one of the nation's largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with plants across the country.
This Warehouse Supervisor is a member of plant leadership team. This position is responsible for the overall supervision of the warehouse and loading operation to include Stockers and Loaders. This position will be overseeing between 20-25 employees, both Lead and regular warehouse employees. Responsible for the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse and loading operation.
This position will supervise the 2nd shift which runs Monday - Friday from 4:00pm - 1:00am. Flexibility is required as needed to meet the needs of the business and our customers, and this could include occasional Saturday work.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the loading activities of Milgard products.
  • Responsible for the coordination and scheduling of warehouse activities to meet and exceed customers' expectations while optimizing loads and minimizing work hours.
  • Review all paperwork in order to plan work activities, schedule appropriate personnel and balance loads.
  • Prior experience handling employee disciplinary issues, including coaching, verbal and written warnings.
  • Effectively communicates with all staff and problem-solves to ensure optimal running of the warehouse.
  • Manage expense accounts for department personnel
  • Support the order fulfillment process by working extensively with inside sales representatives, production personnel, customer service and credit
  • Experience interfacing with other key departments including Production, Delivery, Human Resources and other members of the management team.
  • Create and execute MPS objectives; meet MPS commitments and work within the guidelines of MPS
  • Reflect Milgard business values and Milgard Philosophy in all business interactions
  • Ensure safety of personnel and compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations

Qualifications
  • High School diploma required; Some college preferred
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years related warehouse experience.
  • Prior warehouse supervision and employee management experience needed
  • Prior Warehouse Supervision experience in a manufacturing environment highly desired.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, loading logistics and employee management
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement practices desired
  • 5S, Lean Manufacturing practices desired
