Virtual SLPs, or Virtual Speech-Language Pathologists, are licensed professionals who provide speech therapy and language intervention services remotely using telepractice technology. They work with clients of all ages through secure video conferencing platforms, delivering assessments, therapy sessions, and consultations online. This approach makes speech therapy more accessible, especially for clients in remote or underserved areas, while maintaining the same standards of care as in-person services.

These skills and qualities ensure effective, accessible therapy and positive outcomes for clients in a virtual environment.

How do virtual SLPs collaborate with teachers and families to support students’ progress?

Virtual SLPs (Speech-Language Pathologists) often use secure video conferencing, digital progress reports, and regular email or phone check-ins to stay connected with teachers and families.
