Trustpoint is partnering with an Am Law firm in their search for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its Atlanta office and support a busy Global Insurance practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team working on complex, high-stakes litigation matters.


Hybrid Schedule

Salary: Starting at $85,000, depending on experience


Position Overview

We are looking for a highly organized, proactive paralegal with strong problem-solving and communication skills. The ideal candidate has experience handling complex litigation matters, including general liability cases and medical record analysis, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.

Flexibility is key in this role, including the ability to work overtime when needed and support attorneys across multiple offices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation and trial preparation, including trial attendance
  • Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and records authorizations
  • Support and manage the discovery process, including:
  • Reviewing and analyzing medical records
  • Preparing medical summaries and identifying additional providers
  • Organizing and producing documents
  • Drafting privilege logs and memoranda
  • Coordinate depositions, witnesses, and case logistics
  • Conduct factual research and investigations
  • Maintain strong communication with attorneys, clients, and third parties
  • Utilize research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw
  • Support e-discovery efforts, including the handling of electronically stored information (ESI)
  • Manage case files and databases using litigation support tools


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a high-volume environment
  • Experience with general liability litigation and medical record analysis required
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate required
  • Proficiency with tools such as PACER, Relativity, Adobe Acrobat, Trial Director, and case management systems (preferred)
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism and discretion with confidential information
  • Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
