Natomas Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our privately owned small animal practice.

For more than 20 years, our hospital has provided comprehensive veterinary care to pets and families throughout the Sacramento area. Our 4-doctor team manages a broad range of cases, including preventive care, urgent and emergency presentations, internal medicine, dentistry, and surgery. We are seeking a veterinarian who demonstrates sound clinical judgment, communicates effectively, and is interested in contributing to the continued development of the hospital.

Natomas Veterinary Hospital is entering an important period of growth, with plans to expand both our facility and operating hours. Our team includes more than 20 compassionate veterinary professionals who work collaboratively to support efficient patient care and hospital operations. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape this next phase of the practice, support the development of clinical services, and contribute to the growth of the medical team.

• 4 exam rooms- expanding to 8 rooms
• Full IDEXX in-house diagnostic suite
• Digital radiography, including dental radiography
• Sound Ultrasound
• Companion therapeutic laser
• ezyVet and Vet Radar cloud-based medical records
• Live virtual scribes with AI-assisted medical documentation
• Mobile specialists are integral in our standard of care (Surgery, cardiology, radiology and internal medicine)

• Competitive base salary of $175,000 to $200,000, with production-based compensation. No negative accrual between quarters.
  • Full-time scheduling options:Three 12-hour shifts, 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m., or four 10-hour shifts, 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m or 10a.m.-8p.m.
