Role Overview
Physicians deliver high-quality care through synchronous (video/phone) and asynchronous telehealth encounters, working within established clinical protocols and collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct video, phone, and asynchronous patient visits as scheduled
  • Obtain focused histories and perform telehealth-appropriate clinical evaluations
  • Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate
  • Develop clear, patient-specific care plans and prescribe in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with APPs and specialists
  • Ensure timely follow-up and close the loop on diagnostic results
  • Document accurately and efficiently within the clients EHR or telehealth platform
  • Practice in accordance with current clinical guidelines, payer requirements, HIPAA, and state scope-of-practice laws
Required Qualifications
  • MD or DO with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license in at least one state
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (within an acceptable timeframe) in relevant specialty
  • DEA registration and state-specific controlled substance registration (CSR), where required
  • Minimum of one (1) year post-residency clinical experience
  • Comfort using EHRs, ePrescribing, eLabs, and remote clinical workflows
  • Reliable high-speed internet, private workspace, and professional on-camera presence
Preferred Qualifications
  • Multiple active state licenses and/or IMLC eligibility
  • Prior telemedicine experience
  • Experience in value-based care, RPM/CCM, behavioral health integration, or virtual urgent care
  • Bilingual proficiency
  • Familiarity with payer documentation requirements and clinical quality metrics

  • Engagement models vary by client (W-2 and 1099 options available)
