Credence has an immediate need for an experienced Program Manager who will be primarily responsible for supporting AFLCMC/XP-OZ at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH.

The Plans and Programs/Cyber and Analysis Programs Directorate (AFLCMC/XP-OZ), headquartered at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH is responsible for center resource management, strategic planning, transformation, change management, center information technology, and operations research and analysis.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

  • Coordinates with Senior management, team leads, and program office representatives to streamline periodic working groups and strategic leadership meetings.
  • Key duties include managing action plans, developing strategic briefings for senior leadership, overseeing all program-related reporting, and maintaining lessons learned documentation.
  • Serve as a key facilitator of communication and collaboration between the program office and the various supporting Functionals (e.g., Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Contracting). This involves proactively engaging with program office leadership¹, functional team leads, and other government representatives to prepare agendas, gather inputs, and consolidate materials for periodic working groups, functional alignment meetings, and other strategic leadership forums, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned prior to key decision points.
  • Assist the government team with comprehensive program and project analysis. This requires applying analytical techniques to support the planning and organizing of all programmatic activities, including the development and maintenance of integrated master schedules, program management plans, and other critical planning documentation that translates strategic goals into executable actions.
  • Provide advisory support for the review and establishment of program-level policies and guidance. This includes interpreting higher-level directives from DoD, USAF, and AFLCMC, and assisting the government in drafting and refining local operating instructions and program guidance to ensure full compliance and improve the efficiency of internal processes.
  • Actively engage with functional team leads and team members to develop, manage, and update the program's action plans. This is a dynamic task that involves tracking progress against established goals, identifying potential roadblocks, and working with the team to reprioritize tasks as necessary to adapt to changing program conditions and maintain forward momentum on critical path items.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of high-impact strategic briefings and other materials intended for presentation to senior leadership. This involves synthesizing complex technical, schedule, and cost information into a clear, concise, and defensible narrative that effectively conveys program status, risks, and recommended courses of action.
  • Responsible for the logistical planning and technical support of telecommunications and meetings with a wide range of internal and external organizations. This includes coordinating schedules with diverse stakeholders, preparing meeting minutes, managing presentation materials, and ensuring the seamless operation of communication platforms for both virtual and in-person events.
  • Provide expert support to government leadership in the management of the program's requirements management process flow. This includes assisting in the tracking of requirements from inception through validation and allocation, ensuring that all requirements are properly documented, and supporting the configuration management process for any proposed changes.
  • Responsible for the collection, consolidation, and management of program-related reporting for the program office and its interfacing organizations. This includes drafting and delivering monthly activity reports, preparing detailed year-in-review and history reports, and developing program quad charts. A key function of this role is to coordinate and formulate responses to ad-hoc data calls and taskers from external organizations and oversight authorities, including PEOs, Functional Directorates, and other entities across the AFLCMC enterprise and any Air Base Wing where LCMC has a presence.
  • Provide direct support to meetings by capturing key discussion points, decisions, and action items. Following the meetings, the contractor is responsible for formally documenting and disseminating these action items to the assigned POCs and diligently tracking them through to completion and formal closure.
  • Establish and maintain the program's lessons learned documentation. This involves proactively capturing key insights, best practices, and process improvement suggestions from all phases of the program life cycle to build a repository that fosters continuous improvement and informs future strategic planning.
  • Provide flexible and responsive advisory support to government leadership when requested. This includes undertaking special projects, conducting research on emergent issues, and providing other ad-hoc assistance as required to support the overall success of the program mission.

Requirements

  • Clearance: Secret
  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD or,
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD or
  • Fifteen years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in the DoD
  • Experience supporting Air Force or defense acquisition organizations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience in USAF weapon systems acquisitions, a proven track record of briefing senior executives, and formal project management training to ensure the seamless execution of program activities and effective management of the requirements process flow
  • Senior-level understanding of defense acquisition
  • Demonstrated experience in USAF weapon systems acquisitions to navigate the complexities of the DoD 5000.02 framework, proven senior executive briefing experience to effectively communicate program status and risk to General Officer/Senior Executive Service leadership, and a formal project management certification or training (e.g., PMP or DAWIA) to provide a structured and disciplined approach to all program management activities
