• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate each patient’s mental health status, strengths, and specific needs, utilizing standard diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Provide various evidence-based therapies, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and nursing professionals, to create a coordinated care plan that addresses patients’ complexities.
• Assist patients and their families in understanding their mental health diagnoses, available treatment options, and prescribed medications, ensuring clear communication and support.
• Facilitate individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based treatment modalities to foster recovery.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with the entire treatment team, incorporating feedback from patients to respect their goals and preferences genuinely.
• Help patients navigate the complexities of the mental health system, advocating for their needs and rights, thus ensuring they receive the care and services they require.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups, psychoeducational sessions, and meetings for discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for our patients back into their communities.

This position will focus on school-aged children and adolescents, addressing a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Your work will significantly impact the emotional and psychological well-being of young individuals, providing them with the necessary tools and support to thrive academically and socially.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington is mandatory.
• Demonstrated strong knowledge in mental health disorders, crisis intervention, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Proven ability to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Experience in school-based mental health services is preferred, as is familiarity with interventions specifically tailored for children and adolescents.
• Previous work with trauma-informed care practices will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of community resources available for children and families dealing with mental health issues.
