Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)  

Shift: Flex 

Pay: 43.25 - 69.19 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Summary:
Manages operations of the assigned department or function to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.

Responsibilities:
Oversees the operational readiness of crews and fleet. Oversees the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, providers, and other system departments. Acts as a liaison with external agencies. Provides patient care when necessary.
Provides oversight for staff including performance management, staff satisfaction, engagement, development and conflict management.
Develops, executes and monitors communication plans to ensure proper and full dissemination to all staff and outside agencies.
Develops specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization. Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Required Education:
    IF RN: Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing - OR-
    IF PARAMEDIC: High school diploma or GED. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in related field - OR -
    IF EMT: High school diploma or GED. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in related field.
    Required Licensure/Certification:
    IF RN: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) - OR -
    IF PARAMEDIC: Within 90 days: Colorado EMT-P certification or licensure - OR -
    IF EMT: Current State Certification or Licensure as an EMT.
    IF RN or Paramedic: BLS and ACLS.
    IF EMT: BLS.
    Minimum Experience: 3 years of relevant experience.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
