You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals—including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers—through virtual meetings and digital communication tools. Our outpatient clinic is designed to provide a friendly and empowering atmosphere, irrespective of the virtual setting.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing individualized therapy sessions for clients, employing various therapeutic modalities to address specific needs.
• Conducting comprehensive initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine client progress and treatment efficacy.
• Developing and maintaining tailored treatment plans based on client assessments, goals, and evolving circumstances.
• Facilitating group therapy sessions to foster peer support among clients facing similar challenges.
• Engaging actively in multi-disciplinary team meetings to formulate a cohesive treatment strategy and ensure a comprehensive approach to client care.
• Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate, up-to-date records in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

Your primary focus will be working with individuals coping with substance abuse issues and co-occurring mental health conditions. You will support clients on their path to recovery, addressing their unique challenges and facilitating their journey towards healthier lifestyles. By understanding the interpersonal dynamics within families and relationships, you will help clients navigate their experiences and establish healthier patterns.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• A current, valid license in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Science as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and the ability to apply them in therapeutic settings.
• Proficient in virtual communication tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with:

• Previous experience working with clients dealing with substance abuse and mental health disorders.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing treatment plans that yield positive outcomes.
• Experience working in a remote or telehealth environment.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your professional and personal well-being.
