Job description

The successful candidate will provide reference service to students, faculty, staff, and the general public. Other professional duties as assigned.


POSITION SUMMARY


Responsibilities included but are not limited to:

  • Fluent with print and online library services
  • Experience providing general reference in a library
  • Experience with face-to-face and virtual reference modalities
  • Experience at a community college


SPECIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Master’s Degree in Library Science or equivalent from ALA accredited Library school is required

Experience: 2 years public service experience (in any field); reference experience in a library, preferably in an academic environment.

Other: Must reside in New Jersey.
